We’ve all been there — browser bookmarks overflowing with the "latest and greatest" AI tools, only to find ourselves returning to the same one or two platforms every single day.

Working in IT Solutions, I’ve noticed a growing trend: 𝗔𝗜 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗲. More tools don't necessarily lead to better output; often, they just create more noise.

𝗠𝘆 𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝘆 "𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲" 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 "𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿":
• 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗽: Every tool that doesn't "talk" to your existing workflow is just another data silo.
• 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗼𝘅 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲: Spending more time deciding which AI to use than actually using it for high-value tasks.
• 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿: Each new tool is a new variable in the security equation. In a professional environment, "𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲" 𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝘀.

𝗔 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲:

Instead of a scattered toolbox, I've shifted toward a "𝟭 + 𝗡" 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺. One powerful, integrated core (like Copilot, Gemini, or ChatGPT Enterprise) to handle 80% of the heavy lifting, supported by just 2 or 3 highly specialized tools for those unique, complex technical tasks.

At the end of the day, AI should make our workflows simpler, not more complicated.
